If you can cause them to miss the arrow you can simply pick them up and they will keep throwing forever, very useful if you fire an expensive arrow at them. 4.Hope this helps you :)
As a side note, some people aren't too fond of looking up the codes of items, or are sure of how to do it, and this is a very easy way to dupe stuff, without looking up any codes. Again, if you wanted to dupe any items you enchanted yourself, this is the easiest way to do so.
